Participation in the complete graphic museological design of the major anniversary exhibition for the centenary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe. Developed within the 86th Thessaloniki International Fair, the exhibition was grounded in an original curatorial concept I proposed — a wave-inspired system governed by the laws of physics, reflecting the emotional resonance and historical weight of the refugee experience.
Exhibits were arranged to leave behind a visual imprint and create fluctuations in narrative intensity, depending on their emotional value, supporting and deepening the overarching exhibition storyline.
Visual Identity
The visual identity and logo of the exhibition were inspired by a powerful image: a refugee mother holding her child — a symbol drawn from the archival visual material and the expressive faces featured in the exhibition. This central figure evolved into an abstract, wave-like form, representing both the Motherland and the emotional currents of forced migration. Her headscarf, stylized as a continuous wave, carries the spirit and memory of place as it flows across the exhibition space.
Black was chosen as the dominant color, signifying the mourning and darkness of war — a somber chapter in Greek history. Gold, used as a secondary element, honors the centenary but also evokes the enduring cultural richness that the Asia Minor refugees brought to Greece — new flavors, perspectives, and a lasting legacy of refinement.

Participation in the graphic and museological design of the exhibition, which was based on archival material and visual documentation from the War Museum, highlighting key moments of the Asia Minor Campaign and its historical significance.
Revealing the Public Central Library of Larissa Konstantinos Koumas
Central Library of Larissa, 2024
Complete museological, exhibition, and graphic design of the Public Library's permanent collection, aiming to reintroduce its historical and cultural value to the public of Larissa and beyond. The exhibition is structured around key themes such as the history of Thessaly and its Enlightenment thinkers, with emphasis on Konstantinos Koumas, after whom the library is named.
Thematic sections are distinguished through color coding and architectural interventions (e.g., plasterboard structures), while the overall space evokes the atmosphere of a historical printing house. Pages from significant newspapers featuring key moments in the library’s and the city’s history rise from the ceiling, creating an immersive narrative layer.
On the floor, key milestones in the library’s history are translated into a contemporary visual language using vinyl graphics and pictograms, making the experience more accessible and engaging—especially for younger audiences.

Participation in the graphic and museological design of the exhibition, which presented for the first time the refugee registry of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, showcasing the naturalization and resettlement of the Asia Minor refugees.
