The Sci-Fi Museum Dystopia is a combined effort of two museology master dissertations of Melina Papadopoulou (idea, conceptual planning, architectural and exhibition museum design) and Sofoklis Binieris (graphic design, lighting design and branding proposal) for the creation of a cinema, Avant Garde SCIENCE FICTION MUSEUM dedicated to DYSTOPIA, having as main design ambition the transmutation of a film watching experience to a living one with an equal achievement of pleasure.
Neon Lighting serves as the energy element which will bring this alien form into existence. The graphic design museum proposal treats lighting as a three-dimensional element of direction and spatial significance. It directs the neon lighting spatially based upon a concept of a big interior ground split hat creates ligh veins.
